Description
The researcher will be required to enhance clinical and laboratory research in the field of endodontics and implantology, with specific reference to the study of dental treatments in patients with chronic systemic diseases (e.g., diabetes, heart disease, risk of bisphosphonate-induced osteonecrosis). Research will focus particularly on the development and use of innovative biomaterials and the integration of digital workflows into treatment protocols. The research will be carried out at the Dental Clinic of the Department of Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences (DIBINEM) in collaboration among the clinical units, in the management of systemically compromised patients. Teaching activities are planned within the scientific area of “SSD MEDS/16A Malattie Odontostomatologiche” and the participation in clinical cohort studies, with scientific production consistent with the topics of the scientific area.
