Description
This sector encompasses scientific and educational research on the relationships between states, other entities, and actors in transnational relations, with particular reference to the structural characteristics of the international legal system and international organizations, as well as the adaptation of domestic law. Studies also include those relating to the complex sources and substantive disciplines of private and procedural international law. Specifically, the regulatory areas covered by this sector include the international protection of human rights and humanitarian law, transnational environmental law, international economic and investment law, and international trade law. The group's methodology is aligned with the specificities of international law, both with regard to public and private international law
