Description
Research activities focus on the study and development of modeling, analysis, and design methodologies for multiphase electrical machines, aimed at high power density and efficiency applications. The objective is to develop analytical models and/or models based on finite element analysis capable of accurately representing the behavior of the electrical machine under various operating conditions, including the capability of producing and controlling radial forces and torque.The activities are structured into an initial design phase (M1–M12),involving the study and analysis of innovative models related to the research topics. The second phase (M13–M24) concerns prototype implementation and experimental testing, along with performance evaluation of the identified solutions
