Description
The research programme will examine the effects of major farming factors on the qualitative and technological properties of poultry meat, focusing on interactions between nutrition, animal management, and production parameters. The research contract holder will be trained in analytical techniques for meat quality assessment at the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences – UOS of Cesena, under the supervision of Prof. Massimiliano Petracci. After an initial project overview, the candidate will perform analyses using traditional and innovative methods supported by statistical models. Experimental farming trials under different management and dietary conditions will be conducted to identify production strategies ensuring product quality, sustainability, and animal welfare. The project will also promote interaction with the regional agri-industrial sector, strengthening future career prospects.
