Description
The research involves reconstructing the hydrogeological structure of aquifers A and B in the Lombardy plain, with a particular focus on the area between the Adda-Ticino and Po rivers. The activity primarily requires the use of QGIS and Leapfrog software for:- archiving piezometric data- assessing trends according to ISPRA guidelines- archiving and digitizing stratigraphy- correlating hydrogeological units- comparing with previous reconstructions by CAP, the Province of Milan, and the Lombardy RegionUsing the Modflow numeric code for:- importing hydrogeological structure- verifying layer consistency- creating pinchout structures- allocating water wells in the different layers- representing surface water flows- selecting calibration targets
