Description

The project aims at studying the genomes of individuals with neuromuscular diseases to identify genes involved in the disease pathogenesis. Genomic data combined with clinical, histological, and MRI data, will provide the basis for accurate diagnosis and stratification of patients who currently remain undiagnosed. This approach is essential for developing personalized clinical interventions. The study lays the groundwork for precision medicine in muscle diseases and for understanding the pathogenic mechanisms involved. The researcher will be involved in the genomic analysis of the recruited subjects.
