This position is linked to the activities of the project “areUsafe – Are Universities Safe Spaces? A multi-sited ethnographic study on the higher education journeys of displaced people in South and South-East Asia” (ID: SOE2024_0000115; CUP: J33C24002500006). The candidate activities will focus on two specific case studies: Pakistan and Thailand. For each of these case studies, the candidate will support the PI in the following activities: (1) mapping and reviewing the existing literature; (2) establishing connections with displaced students and higher education institutions; (3) conducting qualitative data collection, including semi-structured interviews and focus groups; and (4) analysing the collected data through the theoretical framework developed within the project. The candidate will also contribute to the visibility and dissemination of project results, including the management and updating of the project website and social media channels.
