Description

The research program will contribute to the activities of the TWINFALL project funded by Fondazione Cariplo CUP D13C24003100007. It will involve the collection, processing, and representation of georeferenced data from topographic and photogrammetric surveys, and their management within databases for the production of landslide digital twins for modelling, monitoring, and forecasting purposes within the TWINFALL case studies. The project will consider the types of landslides addressed by the project, primarily rockfalls, which affect the study areas: Torrioni di Rialba (Abbadia Lariana) and Monte San Martino (Lecco). Particular attention will be paid to geospatial technologies and the types of data structures to be used to enable the integration of models with multi-source data, possibly even in real time.
