Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna - The distributional impacts of climate change and climate policy

The researcher will investigate the distributional impacts of climate change and climate policy using a combination of climate econometric and survey-based methods. The analysis will focus on how climate risks and policy interventions affect different socioeconomic groups, sectors, and regions, with particular attention to heterogeneity in exposure and adaptive capacity. Perceptions of the asymmetric consequences of climate change, as well as attitudes toward mitigation and adaptation policies, will also be examined.Strong knowledge of one or more programming languages and data analysis software (e.g., R) is required, along with the ability to manage and analyze complex datasets.
