Optical properties of glasses doped with lanthanide ions for photonic applications (OPGL) - Ref. 95/26/IR

The research programme focuses on the fabrication of glass and ceramic materials doped with rareearth ions, including Er³?, Yb³? and Nd³?, and their optical characterisation using spectroscopic techniques. Theoretical models, such as the Judd–Ofelt theory, will also be employed.
