Development of numerical models for the virtual manufacturing of composite structures - Ref. 98/26/IR

The research project aims to apply advanced numerical models to the study of the virtual manufacturing of composite materials. Specifically, it aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Equivalent Single Layer and Layer-Wise models in predicting residual deformations and stresses resulting from the manufacturing process of multilayer components for aeronautical and other applications, including viscoelastic effects.
