Digital Systems for Resilience and Traceability in Manufacturing and Fashion Supply Chains - 2026_IDR_DIG_66

The research programme aims to investigate the role of digital technologies and systems in enhancing resilience and traceability across manufacturing supply chains, with a particular focus on the fashion sector. The research will analyse companies’ needs and the main challenges associated with data collection, sharing, and use across the supply chain. Through direct engagement with companies and the analysis of real-world applications, emerging solutions and best practices will be identified and mapped. Particular attention will be devoted to how digital systems can improve visibility, transparency, and the ability to respond to risks and disruptions.
