Pica Code IR-2026-071 - BAYWATCH: A prototype platform for real-time monitoring, safety and interference management at logistics loading docks.

Research assistance, under the tutor’s supervision, in developing and validating algorithms to analyse interactions and interference between vehicles and workers at logistics loading docks. Activities include defining dynamic risk indicators based on layouts, positions, trajectories and speeds; documenting algorithms through pseudocode and functional specifications; prototyping and data analysis; testing risk maps in simulated scenarios; and supporting experimental validation and technical and scientific documentation. The objective is to contribute to a risk engine that can be integrated into the BAYWATCH simulation environment
