Development of chromatographic methods coupled with mass spectrometry for molecules of oncological interest.
In the field on oncology, Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM) can be an extremely valuable tool to obtain “personalized medicine”, with the goal of optimizing drug posology on the basis of the observed drug concentrations.The research activity will consist in the development, validation and application of a Ultra-High Performance coupled with Tandem-Mass Spectrometry (UHPLC-MS/MS) assay for the quantification of molecules of oncologic interest, starting from 5-fluorouracil, together with uracil and 5-DH-U.The method may be useful for the phenotyping of drug metabolism and disposition, complementing eventual pharmacogenetic, anthropometric and clinical information, thus helping to define the optimal drug dosage for each patient.

Mandatory requirement for admission to the selection: italian Laurea Magistrale, or Laurea a Ciclo Unico, or an equivalent degree from foreign Universities, obtained no more than 6 years prior to the application deadline (i.e obtained after 13/10/2020).
