Development of a Measurement System for Monitoring the Soil Geodisinfestation Process in Fresh-cut Crop Production

The project aims to design, develop, and validate a measurement system for managing the soil geodisinfestation process in fresh-cut crop production systems. Specifically, the project encompasses the following phases: (i) definition of the optimal experimental setup based on the required specifications and the variables of interest; (ii) development of the most suitable data acquisition system; and (iii) characterization of the system in terms of metrological accuracy, considering the potential influence of external factors acting on the system. Once the measurement system has been developed and the experimental protocol has been established, a series of tests will be carried out to verify its performance and operational reliability. In parallel, the dissemination of research outcomes through scientific publications and presentations at national and international scientific conferences is also envisaged.
