Comparative evaluation procedure for n. 1 post-doc research contract - Department of Psychology

Title of the project: ""A novel digital application for the prevention of eating disorders: a pilot study". The project will evaluate, through a pilot study, the preliminary effects and acceptability of a progressive web app developed for the prevention of eating disorders (EDs) among at-risk individuals from the general population. The app provides psychoeducational content and guided exercises based on evidence-based approaches, focusing on the enhancement of transdiagnostic psychological factors associated with ED risk, including intuitive eating, emotion regulation, and psychological well-being. The study adopts a longitudinal, multi-method design, collecting both quantitative and qualitative data to assess not only changes in ED risk and related transdiagnostic factors, but also user engagement and experience with the app. The findings will contribute to the optimization of the app and its content..Omissis.
